The origin and crustal evolution of the Chiapas massif and its relationship to the maya block

Our preliminary field studies and analytic results have shown, that the Chiapas massif holds an enormous source of information about de pre-mesozoic history of the maya terrane and hence, this information can make a crucial contribution of the understanding of the geology of southern México and the connections between gondwana and laurention before and after pangea.
